Fontanellas y Marti is a tannery from the city of Igualada in Catalonia, a Spanish region with a tradition of expertise in the leather and textile industries dating back to the development of its first tanneries 1880. Founded in 1954, Fontanellas y Marti boasts decades of experience in creating leather, drawing inspiration and knowledge from the region’s heritage.
GILBANO uses hides only from Catalonia (one of the top production areas in the world), thereby guaranteeing the best leather quality. Each hide is hand-selected by dedicated sourcing specialists, whilst the latest tanning technology and procedures lay the foundations for products that marry creativity, innovation and excellence.
